Brand New is Mi-kaisha’s latest original release. Written by Mi-kaisha and produced by multi-platinum producer​, Taka Perry, the track is full of soulful melodies and impassioned lyrics and was inspired by the musical traditions of Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys and the like. It is spiritual, healing, hard-hitting and unapologetic all at the same time. Mi-kaisha draws on gospel, hip hop and R&B musical traditions to create a modern synthesis that sonically represents the artist she is growing into. This is her first original release in over 2years.
